Staff Electrical Engineer

Aurora is hiring a Staff Electrical Engineer to join their team of electrical engineers responsible for the development of electronics for Aurora’s custom hardware. The role involves collaborating with internal and external teams to gather requirements, define HW architecture, and deliver electronics that achieve performance and product metrics.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or master's degree with a focus in electrical or computer engineering
• 8+ years experience in industry developing complex electrical hardware
• Expertise in system architecture, signal and power integrity design and analysis, high speed signaling, grounding, analog electronics
• High proficiency and ability to analyze systems for balancing electro-mechanical and EMI/EMC constraints
• Extensive experience with hardware productization: system, board and chip level implementation
• Strong electrical engineering fundamentals supported by the use of CAD tools to capture schematic designs, manage PCB layout, leverage Power/Signal simulation/emulation input
• Expertise with lab instruments (TDR, Oscilloscopes, Analyzers, DMMs, Power Supplies, and E-loads)
