Job Description
Aurora Solar is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their commercial solar design platform, HelioScope. The role involves building intuitive tools to accelerate the design and implementation of large-scale solar projects, working across the full stack, and mentoring other engineers. The team operates in a remote environment and focuses on creating scalable solutions.
Requirements
- 6+ years of pragmatic craftsmanship resulting in high-quality, well-tested, maintainable products
- Proficiency in at least one core programming language, ideally in Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, or React
- Solid grasp of both object-oriented and functional programming paradigms
- Experience designing APIs, optimizing relational data models, and deploying cloud-native applications
- Deep knowledge of Agile, DevOps, and Lean values, principles and practices
- Professional fluency in written and spoken English
