Job Description
Austin Bridge & Road is seeking interns for its 2026 Summer Heavy Civil Engineering Internship Program. As a summer intern, you will gain hands-on experience on heavy civil construction projects, work with experts in the business, and participate in social and volunteer events. Interns will be assigned to a project in the North Texas area and will report to their supervisor to discuss goals, expectations, and desired outcomes.
Requirements
- Must be an active junior or senior college student working toward a bachelor's degree in one of these fields: Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or similar
- Targeted graduation date between December 2026 and December 2027
- Must be able to work up to 40 hours per week
- Must be able to commute onsite to assigned location
- Valid driver's license
- Must have excellent oral and written communication skills
- Must have the ability to think analytically, present ideas professionally, and work in project teams
- Applicants must be legally authorized to work for ANY employer in the United States
