Electrician -Austin Industrial (Pasadena, TX)

We are seeking an Electrician to assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures. The Electrician will diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components, and correct the problem.

Requirements

• Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components
• Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components
• Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits
• Maintain current electrician's license or identification card
• Plan layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures
• Direct and train workers
• Prepare sketches or follow blueprints
• Use a variety of tools and equipment
• Install ground leads and connect power cables
• Repair or replace wiring, equipment, and fixtures
• Work from ladders, scaffolds, and roofs
• Place conduit and pull insulated wires or cables
• Construct and fabricate parts
• Fasten small metal or plastic boxes to walls
• Perform physically demanding tasks
• Provide preliminary sketches and cost estimates
• Aid during emergencies
