Engineer II – Austin Bridge & Road

Austin Bridge & Road has an outstanding opportunity available for an Engineer II to join our Heavy Civil project team in Austin, TX. This role supports key engineering functions, including procurement and expediting of construction materials, while driving excellence in heavy civil construction.

Requirements

• Procure materials and ensure timely delivery
• Prepare detailed cost estimates for proposed changes
• Update contract plans and master schedules
• Oversee and manage submittals
• Track materials, coordinate projects, and enforce safety standards
• Analyze, review, and update job cost information
• Process change orders per project owner requirements
• Manage subcontractors effectively
• Respond to RFIs from owners and subcontractors
• Compile and deliver close-out documents, including drawings, warranties, and service manuals
