Job Description
The Hepatology Clinical Fellow position at Austin Health provides a combined clinical and research experience in the public system. The Fellow will participate in hepatology clinics, gain experience in outpatient care, and undertake hepatology-based research. The position involves working with a multidisciplinary team and attending clinics, including the Liver Mass MDM and pre- and pos-liver transplant clinics.
Requirements
- Registration as a Medical Practitioner with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Appropriate training and experience in gastroenterology and hepatology, having completed at least two core years of advanced training
- Demonstrated commitment to high quality patient care
- Demonstrated capability and interest in clinical research
- Demonstrated commitment to teaching of junior medical staff and medical advanced trainees
