Job Description
The Victorian Poisons Information Centre is seeking a Specialist in Poisons Information to join their team. The successful candidate will provide health professionals and members of the public with risk assessment and management advice in the event of a poisoning or suspected poisoning. The role requires excellent communication skills, a strong commitment to providing exceptional care, and flexibility to contribute to a 7-day per week, 24-hour roster.
Requirements
- Relevant qualifications and experience as a pharmacist, with current AHPRA registration
- Demonstrated ability to work across a multidisciplinary team, with a strong commitment to excellence in patient care
- Exceptional communication skills and attention to detail
- Enthusiasm and passion for continued learning
- Flexibility and availability to contribute to the operational requirements of a 7-day per week, 24-hour roster
