Upper GI Surgical Clinical Fellow

Austin Health is seeking an Upper GI Surgical Clinical Fellow to provide direct operative experience and multidisciplinary clinics in the public system at the Austin hospital. The role involves scheduling operating lists, participating in general surgical on call roster, and managing bariatric emergencies. The successful candidate will also undertake dedicated bariatric research and participate in bariatric clinics with a multidisciplinary focus.

Requirements

• Registration as a Medical Practitioner with AHPRA
• Appropriate training and experience applicable to the field of Upper GI
• Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons or its equivalent
• Demonstrated commitment to high quality patient care
• Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration
• Demonstrated ability to communicate at all levels
