Job Description
Data Solutions Lead within the Freight Services team will own and drive the definition and delivery of data-led solutions for priority business use cases. The role requires strong stakeholder leadership and collaboration, operating as a trusted partner across Freight Services and the broader organisation.
Requirements
- Proficient in programming languages and tools used for data engineering and governance such as SQL, Python, CI/CD deployments etc.
- Strong hands-on understanding of enterprise data warehouse architectures, including data ingestion, transformation, modelling, and consumption layers.
- Highly developed understanding of data engineering, data governance, and data modelling best practices, including data quality, lineage, metadata management, and performance optimisation.
- Experience working with cloud-based data platforms such as Google Cloud (preferred), AWS, or Azure, including building and operating enterprise data warehouses.
- Experience supporting analytics, reporting, or self-service BI platforms built on top of data warehouses.
