Entry Level Claims Representative

Auto-Owners Insurance is seeking a motivated claims trainee to join their team. The role involves handling entry-level insurance claims, investigating, evaluating, and resolving claims in a timely manner.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or direct equivalent experience with property/casualty claims handling
• Ability to organize data, multi-task and make decisions independently
• Above average communication skills (written and verbal)
• Ability to write reports and compose correspondence
• Ability to resolve complex issues
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and data security
• Ability to effectively deal with a diverse group of individuals
• Ability to accurately deal with mathematical problems
• Ability to drive an automobile, possess a valid driver license, and maintain a driving record consistent with the Company's underwriting guidelines for coverage
