Job Description
The HR Generalist will carry out tactical and strategic endeavors, including onboarding, employee relations, wage garnishments, and ensuring compliance with employment law. The role requires a Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or a related field, with a minimum 3 years of experience in HR generalist. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting a workforce with exempt and non-exempt employees, solid understanding of employment laws, and proven problem-solving abilities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of Human Resources generalist experience
- Experience with a union workforce
- PHR Certification a plus but not required
- Experience supporting a workforce comprised of exempt and non-exempt employees
- Solid understanding of employment laws and practices
- Proven problem-solving abilities
