Intern, Model Based Systems Engineering

As an Intern at Autodesk, you will be immersed in driving and owning projects that directly impact our customers, internal teams, or core products. You'll work alongside cross-functional teams and mentors within Autodesk Research, gaining hands-on experience to further drive personal growth. The role involves investigating and prototyping a model-based systems engineering (MBSE) approach tailored for the conceptual design of small-scale mechanical assemblies.

Requirements

• Master's degree program in Systems Engineering or Model Based Systems Engineering (Must be currently enrolled in a full-time, degree seeking program)
• Proven track record with managing projects and challenges
• Working knowledge of mechanical engineering principles, including assembly design and kinematic analysis
• Proficiency in Python and experience with software development for prototyping
• Exposure to AI/ML concepts and experience using AI tools for software development or prototyping
• Experience with CAD/CAM and reverse engineering
• Understanding of product design, manufacturing processes, and design-for-assembly principles
