Managing Director, Evidence & Strategy

Avalere Health is seeking a Vice President level candidate to join its Evidence and Strategy practice within its Advisory capability. The Managing Director role is a senior advisory leader and part of the extended leadership team. The ideal candidate has current or considerable previous consulting experience with deep knowledge of engaging with life sciences clients from a business development perspective.

Requirements

• Advanced degree in health policy, public policy, healthcare management, public health, public administration, health economics, business administration, with a relevant discipline
• 8-10 years of relevant experience OR an undergraduate degree in the same or similar areas with 12+ years of relevant experience
• 5+ years of management/supervisory experience with excellent leadership/mentoring skills in developing staff
• Advanced proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite
• Solid writing and storytelling skills as a foundation for professional business communication
