Job Description
Avalign produces innovative medical devices and is hiring a CNC Swiss Lathe Machinist to operate and maintain CNC Swiss-style machines and perform burr removal as required. The role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving, ensuring on-time delivery, and upholding quality standards. The position involves setting up, operating, and maintaining machinery, and supporting new product introductions.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 5 years' experience operating Swiss-style lathes in a manufacturing environment
- Experience with Citizen, Tsugami, or similar Swiss-style machines
- Comprehensive knowledge of machinery, tooling, measuring, and gauging equipment
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing concepts and objectives
- Understanding of part requirements for quality assembly
- Understanding basic CNC programming
