Job Description
Avant Law is seeking a Senior Associate to join their Medico-Legal Advisory Service team. The role involves providing high-quality medico-legal advice and support to members, collaboration with the team, and assisting with the development of resources and knowledge database.
Requirements
- At least 6-10 years PQE with demonstrated post-admission experience in the medico-legal space
- Relevant tertiary legal qualifications with a current unsupervised practicing certificate as a Solicitor in Australia
- Appropriate telephone manner and confidence to manage difficult/distressed callers/members
- Effective listening and problem-solving skills
- Collaborative and supportive team player with strong time management skills
- Demonstrated up-to-date knowledge on medico-legal topics/health landscape
