Senior Data Engineer

We're looking for a Senior Data Engineer to build and maintain pipelines and infrastructure that power our AI systems and internal analysis. The role requires 5+ years of experience building scalable data pipelines and warehouses, extensive experience with SQL based transforms in DBT or similar technologies, and fluency in Python. We're a 4-day work week company based in Seattle, working with a modern AI-assisted development tools to accelerate data engineering work.

Requirements

• 5+ years experience building scalable data pipelines and warehouses
• Extensive experience with SQL based transforms in DBT or similar technologies
• Experience operating as a technical lead on a data team
• A passion for data quality and careful testing and validation
• Fluency in python with an emphasis on readable, maintainable code
• Familiarity with Terraform and K8s container orchestration
• Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences
• Flexibility and willingness to wear many hats
