Job Description
This CNC SWISS SET UP OPERATOR position involves operating CNC lathes to produce quality metal parts, performing preventive maintenance, and ensuring equipment operation. The role requires a skilled machinist with experience setting up machines and a strong attention to detail, with a focus on problem-solving. Flexible hours are offered, including overtime.
Requirements
- 3 years’ experience as a machinist operating Swiss style machines
- 2-3 years minimum experience setting up machines
- Able to read and understand blueprints
- Proficient in the use of calipers, micrometers and other measurement devices
- Familiar with "G" & "M" codes ( preferred)
- Capable of lifting 35-40 lbs.
- Knowledge of cutting tools used in CNC machines
- Good communication skills
- High attention to detail
- Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Good technical and mathematical skills
