Job Description
Summit Engineered Automation is seeking a full-time, day shift CNC Machinist. This role involves operating CNC machines, programing, setting up, and operating shop equipment for automation equipment. The position requires problem-solving skills and experience with a variety of metals and plastics, and collaboration with a project team. It involves frequent overtime.
Requirements
- Read and understand layouts, blueprints and programming for machined components
- Use problem solving and trouble shooting skills to create and modify programs
- Operate multiple CNC machining centers with minimal supervision
- Set up work for efficient operation
- Adapt machining parameters to material properties
- Lift heavy objects safely
- Reliable and available to work 40 hours a week, plus overtime
