Project Development Opportunistic

Avantus is seeking a Project Development Opportunistic to join their Development team. The role involves comprehensive management development of utility-scale solar photovoltaic projects through project management, economic analysis, document negotiation, and transaction support across a pipeline of projects targeting California and the Desert Southwest wholesale power markets.

Requirements

• Greenfield development of utility-scale solar power generation facilities
• Engage community, local and state institutions for project support
• Negotiate tax abatements, land use agreements, mitigation settlements, and various other agreements
• Negotiate PPA’s with utilities and other energy buyers/offtakers
• Work with the finance department during financial feasibility analysis, evaluation and finance
