Lead Research Analyst / Principal Analyst - Healthcare Payor

Avasant is a leading management consulting firm seeking a Lead Research Analyst / Principal Analyst to join its Healthcare Payor research practice. The ideal candidate will have 6-9 years of experience in research, strategy, or consulting, with a strong focus on healthcare payors. The role involves researching and analyzing the healthcare payor industry, providing insights and advice to clients, and managing a team of researchers. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and delivering research products, engaging with senior leadership teams, and presenting complex concepts to executive audiences.

Requirements

• MBA or equivalent from Tier 1 institutes
• 6-9 years of experience in research, strategy, or consulting
• Strong focus on healthcare payors (health plans, PBMs, or related segments)
• Significant experience with Big 4 or leading healthcare/strategy consulting firms
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English)
• Demonstrated exposure to and interest in emerging technologies and data-driven operating models
• Strong sense of ownership and rigorous adherence to quality and timelines
• Exceptional quantitative, data interpretation, and storytelling skills
