As a senior field-based technician, you will be responsible for the installation, servicing, and maintenance of propane appliances and systems. You will work independently, lead complex service calls, and support the development of junior technicians while ensuring full compliance with provincial codes, safety standards, and Technical Safety Nova Scotia (TSNS) regulations.
Requirements
- Valid Gasfitter A Certificate (Nova Scotia) – required
- Strong working knowledge of propane systems, appliances, and installation practices
- Thorough understanding of applicable codes, regulations, and TSNS requirements
- Proven experience working independently in a customer-facing service role
- Commitment to workplace health and safety standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Class 3 driver’s license is considered an asset
- Ability to participate in an on-call rotation
- Previous experience in a propane or gas service technician role is considered an asset
