Job Description
A Place At Home is seeking compassionate Caregivers/CNA for their Northwest suburbs locations. This on-site position involves providing non-medical professional care including companionship, personal care, ADLs assistance, and light housekeeping. Roles vary daily based on agency needs and client availability. Must be reliable, communicate clearly, and be able to lift up to 40lbs. Interested in providing compassionate and comprehensive support.
Requirements
- One year of experience providing in-home or facility care to individuals with disabilities and/or elderly
- Experience with incontinence care
- Experience working with adults with cognitive impairments (Alzheimer’s disease preferred)
- Ability to lift up to 40lbs unassisted
- Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
- Professional communication skills
- Ability to write progress notes
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to pass background check
- Ability to understand and follow care plans
