Job Description
The Lead Mechanic oversees the maintenance tasks in the service, repair, and overhaul of aircraft to insure airworthiness. Ensures timely completion of tasks and provides training and mentorship for an assigned function area. Assists with Maintenance Supervisor responsibilities for short periods of time.
Requirements
- 4+ years recent commercial aircraft maintenance and/or MRO experience
- Applicable Repairman, Airframe, or Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) certification
- PHYSICAL EFFORT AND DEXTERITY: While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be required to sit, stand, and walk; use their hands and arms; and talk or hear; and focus on objects close up. The employee may be required to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee may also be required to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.
