Staff Engineer - Cloud Test

Aviatrix is seeking a Staff Engineer - Cloud Test to take ownership of test strategy and quality outcomes for cloud networking and security features. The role involves designing and delivering comprehensive test plans, driving automation, and ensuring product reliability from feature design through production release.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in QA testing in networking/security-focused roles
• Strong understanding of network protocols, especially BGP
• Proficiency with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI)
• Expertise in Linux environments and scripting (Python, Shell)
• Experience using AI tools such as Cursor, Claude-Code
• Proficiency in coding in Golang (preferred)
• Experience with Kubernetes and microservices architectures
• Workflow orchestration
• Database systems
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
• Experience with test management tools and bug tracking systems
• Strong team player with excellent collaboration skills
