Menlo Park Survival Skills Instructor

Avid4 Adventure is seeking a Survival Skills Instructor to join their team for the summer. The instructor will co-lead groups of campers, teaching outdoor skills such as shelter building, fire making, and navigation. The position requires a passion for wilderness skills and experience working with kids.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age by the start of camp
• Must have a minimum of 1 year of experience working with kids in a professional or volunteer setting
• Personal and/or professional experience in wilderness skills
• Minimum of Basic First Aid, CPR, and Mandatory Reporter certification by the start of camp

Benefits

• Pay determined based on position, additional responsibilities, relevant certifications, and staff tenure
• Starting rate: $23.55/hour
• Relevant Certification Bonuses: Wilderness First Aid ($100), Teacher's License ($200)
• Additional certification bonuses available ($100-$400 per certification)
