Aviso is seeking an Internal Communications Coordinator to join their team and contribute to communications that advance Aviso’s strategic priorities while cultivating a unified, collaborative culture.
Requirements
- Post-secondary education in communications, public relations, marketing, journalism or a related field
- 2-4 years of experience in communications, marketing, or a related field
- Strong writing and editing skills with the ability to adapt tone and format
- Collaborative, proactive, solutions-oriented mindset and the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels, for different internal audiences and channels
- Demonstrated ability to plan and execute communication activities from concept to completion
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines with minimal oversight
- Experience with web publishing tools (WordPress or other content management systems are an asset)
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, Viva Engage, SharePoint)
- Fluent communication skills in English are required and bilingual skills in French are an asset
- Familiarity with or interest in the financial services industry is an asset
