Job Description
Aviso is seeking a Senior Business Analytics Specialist to join their IT team. The successful candidate will be responsible for translating technical subjects into business-consumable insights and recommendations, bringing deep analytics expertise in Asset Management, complemented by strong problem-solving and consensus-building skills.
Requirements
- Bachelorâs degree in a relevant STEM or business field
- 5+ years analytics experience in Asset Management
- Certifications in AI/ML or Data Engineering
- Experience utilizing Databricks to enable scalable data solutions that support analytics, reporting, and business insights
- Experience in federated analytics environments (preferred)
- Skilled with SQL, modern BI tools and large, diverse datasets
- Working knowledge of Confluence, Jira, and DevOps practices for tracking and documentation
- Canadian Securities Course is required and MBA or CFA designation is considered an asset
- Fluent communication skills in English are required and bilingual skills in French are an asset
