Senior Specialist, Tax & Fund Reporting

Aviso is a leading wealth management and investment services provider for the Canadian financial industry. We are looking for a Senior Specialist, Tax & Fund Reporting to join our Fund Reporting team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the taxation strategy of a group of mutual funds and implementing new tax regulations.

Requirements

• University degree or college diploma in a relevant field
• Professional accounting designation (CPA) is an asset
• Strong knowledge of investment fund taxation
• Minimum of 5 year's experience in tax and fund accounting
• Strong analytical skills
• Ability to problem-solve, detail oriented, and able to work independently
• Works well with internal departments and various external stakeholders
• Ability to prioritize and meet tight deadlines
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Fluent communication skills in English are required and bilingual skills in French are an asset
