Job Description
Away is hiring a Color, Material, Finish Designer to join their Design team. The role involves driving CMF innovation, assisting with color approvals, and managing a comprehensive CMF library and reference system. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year of design and/or color and material matching experience and be proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of design and/or color and material matching experience across either luggage, bags, or hard goods
- Familiarity with the overall product life cycle and manufacturing process for the product
- Proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
- Previous experience and willingness to work with factories to ensure clear communication of design intent
- Flexibility and strong time management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple projects and take responsibility for deadlines
- Bilingual
- Excellent communicator, detail-oriented, and organized
- Creative and innovative
- Agile and motivated by a fast-paced and ever-changing environment
