Editor / Cutter (m/w/d)

As an Editor / Cutter, you convert raw material into finished contributions and ensure precise cuts, clean technology, and clear dramaturgy for television production under real-time conditions. You work with the editorial team and technical team to ensure contents are on air on time and of high quality.

Requirements

• Media-technical training with a focus on moving images
• Comprehensive practical experience as a cutter in the magazine sector
• Excellent knowledge of modern television technology, digital signal processing, and common audio and video formats
• Extensive experience in post-production with Adobe Premiere or comparable professional editing systems
• Strong sense of visual language, timing, and storytelling
• Ability to work structured, remain calm, and communicate clearly and solution-oriented with the editorial team and technical team
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, weekends, and night shifts as well as overtime within current production requirements
• Excellent German and English skills
