Medical Assistant

Requirements

• Screen client telephone calls regarding questions and concerns with medical issues.
• Gather appropriate information during the client pre-visit.
• Assist psychiatric and nursing prescribers and nurses to the extent permitted.
• Complete insurance authorizations for medications and others services.
• Complete documentation in a timely manner.
• Communicate client-related issues to staff.
• Perform duties specific to the assigned service unit.
