We are seeking experienced and skilled Leading Hands to join our team in Tasmania and Victoria. As a Leading Hand, you will play a crucial role in driving the success of our projects and ensuring they meet the highest standards of safety, quality, and environmental care.
Requirements
- Prioritise health and safety, ensuring a zero Lost Time Incident (LTI) culture on-site.
- Identify and address hazards, reducing risks and preventing workplace incidents.
- Implement quality control techniques and adhere to Inspection Test Plans (ITPs).
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment, respecting the surrounding area.
- Lead by example, upholding Fairbrothers values and vision.
- Supervise and guide the on-site team and apprentices, fostering a positive, productive work environment.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, including Project Managers, Estimators, and Site Managers.
- Collaborate with the Foreperson in task allocation and overseeing construction work according to project plans.
- Ensure compliance with Company policies, procedures, and all legislative requirements.
- Actively participate in training and development programs to continuously enhance your skills.
- Seek improvements and implement best practices for a competitive edge in all projects.
