Senior Controls Engineer

The Senior Controls Engineer is responsible for designing, programming, and deploying complex automation systems while mentoring junior engineers. The role requires a strong background in electrical and pneumatic schematics, PLC ladder logic, and robot programming. The individual must be able to lead root-cause analysis and provide technical guidance to cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Controls, or related engineering field
• 5+ years of experience in controls/automation
• High-level competency in electrical and pneumatic schematics and safety-circuit design
• Advanced proficiency in PLC ladder logic, structured text, and program execution
• Solid robot programming across at least one major OEM
• Ability to build and apply cell simulations to check collision risks and estimate cycle times
