Job Description
Join AXIS Capital as a Compliance Analyst, Financial Crime, and contribute to our collective success by supporting the Financial Crime Specialist in delivering second-line financial crime compliance support across multiple legal entities. Your key responsibilities will include supporting the development and implementation of our Financial Crime Framework, reviewing sanctions screening matches, and preparing reporting to regulators, Boards, and local committees.
Requirements
- Knowledge and understanding of UN, US, UK, and EU sanctions and export control orders
- 2-3 years' experience in Compliance roles within General Insurance and/or Lloyd's/London Market with exposure to Financial Crime
- Educated to degree level and/or relevant insurance qualifications
- Some understanding and practical exposure to anti-financial crime legislation, regulations, and practices
- Familiarity with sanction and PEP screening tools and official sanction databases
- Experience making risk-based decisions and documenting compliance rationales
