Job Description
Join AXIS Capital as a Senior Claims Specialist - Construction for its North America Claim Team. Manage primary claims involving New York Labor Law for AXIS U.S. Primary Casualty policies. This role involves evaluating complex liability third-party primary casualty claims and mentoring junior claims adjusters.
Requirements
- Expertise in evaluating and resolving complex New York Labor Law claims
- Ability to mentor and develop junior adjusters
- Prior experience handling complex, litigated New York Labor Law claims
- Experience in drafting coverage correspondence and negotiating settlements
- Ability to recommend and justify the use of outside counsel in complex claims
- Networking and building relationships within professional and market associations
