Join AXIS Capital as an Underwriter - Primary Casualty - Lower Middle Market - Wholesale. Learn and apply marketing, analysis, review, evaluation, and monitoring of new and renewal accounts. Develop a profitable book of small to mid-sized commercial enterprise surplus lines Primary Casualty risks. Negotiate terms and conditions in a competitive environment with wholesale brokers.
Requirements
- 3 to 5 years' direct experience in lower or middle market general liability underwriting
- Bachelor's degree required
- Strong negotiation and business development abilities
- Established wholesale broker relationships are desired, but not required
