Job Description
Floor Hand position assisting in rigging up and down, pulling and laying down rods, tubing and casing on an oil and gas well service rig, with a focus on safety and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- Assists in rigging up and down
- Pulls and lays down rods, tubing and casing
- Maintains tubing, rod tongs and hand tools on the rig
- Dismantles and repairs oil field machinery using hand tools and power tools
- Cleans up spills
- Keeps pipe deck and main deck areas orderly
- Reports any safety hazards, incidents, or maintenance issues to the Rig Supervisor
