Structural Engineer (Buildings) – 4 to 10 years of experience

Ayres Associates is seeking a Structural Engineer (Buildings) with 4-10 years of experience to join their team. The role involves designing new buildings and modifications to existing buildings, working under supervision, and preparing plans and reports.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering with an emphasis in structural engineering
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE)
• Valid driver's license and good driving record
• Good communication and listening skills
• Minimum of 4 years of building design experience
• Design experience in a variety of building types and materials
• Strong knowledge of building codes
• Proficiency in structural analysis software
• Proficiency in Mathcad and Microsoft Excel software
• Experience with the production of structural construction documents
• Proficiency in modeling structures and producing construction drawings with Revit
• Working knowledge of seismic design
