Job Description
We are seeking an experienced LTC Pharmacist to join our team! As a Pharmacist, you will receive incoming prescriptions, review them for accuracy, and fill them with the correct medicine and dose. You will also talk with customers to help them understand their medications and possible side effects, advise them on medication storage, and maintain a safe, clean work environment.
Requirements
- Read and review incoming prescriptions for accuracy, suitability to patient, and potential interactions
- Provide information to patients on side effects, dosage, specific storage needs, and interactions with other medications
- Maintain excellent patient records and pharmacy files
- Conduct regular inventory and maintain proper standards for accepting new inventory and categorizing it appropriately
- Maintain a clean, safe work environment
