Legal Counsel - Employment

Role Overview

We're looking for an experienced employment law expert to support our rapidly growing and evolving businesses. The role is varied and will cover the full range of employment work, supporting the Group Head of Legal and acting as lead employment lawyer to the People team and wider business as and when required.

What You Will Do

You will be involved in employment law related matters, including providing expert legal advice, ensuring compliance with employment legislation, and drafting and reviewing employment contracts and policies.

Requirements

• High degree of legal expertise in employment law
• Commercial awareness with independence of mind
• Ability to balance commercial awareness with independence of mind
• Identifies and manages risks, whilst maintaining ethical standards
• Comfortable working on domestic and international employment law matters
• Comfortable supporting the business in other areas of law, such as client and supplier contracts
