Thread Rolling Operator

This position is for a Thread Rolling Operator within a team environment. The operator will perform secondary operations to cold formed metal parts, ensuring quality and adherence to production schedules and machine capabilities. Responsibilities include machine setup, close tolerance setups, working with gauges, and assisting other operators. The role requires a high level of attention to detail and a willingness to learn.

Requirements

• Setup and operate a variety of thread rolling machines
• Plan and perform close tolerance setups
• Select feeds, speeds, and tools for optimal production
• Check and gage work with scales, micrometers, and gauges
• Adapt or modify tooling to meet gage requirements
• Read blueprints and assist other operators
• Remove and install tooling
• Ensure proper work instructions are followed
• Review the work, assist others, and identify quality issues
