Job Description
Join our Family! Maintenance Mechanic Level 1 or 2 position available in Ankeny, IA. Hourly rate range: Mechanic I $28.06/hour + $0.55/hour shift differential, Mechanic II $31.08/hour + $0.55/hour shift differential. Benefits start day one, including health, dental, vision, life, 401(k) with 100% match up to 4% of employee's salary, uniforms provided, on-site cafeteria.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Must obtain forklift certification within 60 days after starting job
- Prior industrial maintenance experience helpful
- Ability to read and understand various set up/operational diagrams, schematics, drawings, manuals, and manufacturing specifications as it relates to plant machinery and equipment
- Ability to understand and carry out written and oral instructions
- Ability to work as a productive member of a team
- Ability to organize and work on multiple tasks concurrently
- Ability to deal effectively with persons representing widely divergent backgrounds, interests, and points of view
