Mechanic - Packing

Join B&G Foods as a Mechanic - Packing to operate, maintain and repair plant equipment and facilities in a safe, timely and cost-effective manner. Responsible for ensuring high customer satisfaction and performing maintenance activities in a high-performance working environment.

Requirements

• Perform maintenance activities on a shiftly basis
• Generate and complete work orders
• Communicate and work with other operators and line leaders
• Participate in training to improve technical skills
• Participate in root cause failure analysis
• Follow all safety, housekeeping and regulatory agency requirements
• Accurately troubleshoot, perform preventative maintenance, and repair equipment
• Read and understand technical documentation
• Safely operate maintenance shop tools
• Ability to test mechanical equipment
