Pipeline Maintenance Technician

The Pipeline Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining the pipeline infrastructure of our clients through various tasks such as launching and receiving pipeline pigs, maintaining gearboxes and valves, and pulling liquids from lines and trays.

Requirements

• Must be able to walk, bend, stoop, stand, climb and lift up to 75 lbs. for extended periods of time
• Must possess and maintain an acceptable driving record and valid driver's license
• Must be computer proficient to include Microsoft Office Suite and internet navigation familiarity
• Must be able to read and understand maps
• Must be able to work unsupervised and have the ability to solve problems
• Must have solid verbal and written communication skills
• Must maintain a working cell phone for communication through work shift
• Knowledge of basic oilfield safety requirements, and applicable safety regulations
• Successfully complete selected/required Operator Qualifications (OQ’s)
• Maintain professional demeanor in all dealings with clients, supervisors and employees
• Attend all safety meetings unless approved otherwise by Manager
• Report to work as scheduled
• Must be able to pass a drug screen
• Must have own housing
• Must have reliable transportation and maintain a clean driving record
