Job Description
Part-Time Medical Director is needed to perform physician services, handle administrative duties, and supervise the practice of Universal Precautions and emergency medical procedures. The position involves working under operational supervision and assuming medical responsibility for patients, focusing on narcotic replacement therapy, primary care programs, and dispensing medications. Requires adherence to BAART protocols and compliance with contractual obligations.
Requirements
- Board Certified/Eligible in Addiction Medicine or Primary Care
- Must be licensed in good standing to practice medicine as a physician in Vermont
- Current and valid DEA registration
- Must be Medicaid/Medicare eligible
- At least 6 months of Addiction medicine experience preferred
- Drug rehabilitation training and knowledge is helpful
