Job Description
Join Babcock as a Mechanical Fitter at RNAD Coulport and contribute to national security and public infrastructure. As a Mechanical Fitter, you will play a crucial role in maintaining critical mechanical systems, gain experience across various equipment and systems, and join a team committed to engineering excellence and personal development.
Requirements
- Experience within a marine or industrial engineering environment and/or mechanical maintenance
- Comfortable working at heights, in confined spaces and in varied weather conditions
- Able to understand and interpret engineering drawings and apply strong problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail with a focus on quality and fault-finding
- Experience of maintenance procedures, risk assessments, COSHH and Safe Systems of Work
