As a Senior Mechanical Commissioning Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in delivering submarine maintenance programmes that are critical to the United Kingdom's defence capability.
Requirements
- Lead and coordinate mechanical commissioning activities across submarine maintenance periods
- Provide technical assurance through inspections, testing, and commissioning against design intent and specifications
- Engage with stakeholders, representing Babcock at meetings with the Ministry of Defence and relevant authorities
- Manage commissioning risk, contributing to risk registers and mitigation planning
- Ensure compliance with professional engineering standards, quality requirements, and nuclear and submarine safety constraints.
