Job Description
The Combustion SME Advisory Engineer provides technical and strategic input to the company, supporting the execution of commercial proposals and contracts related to solid and gaseous fuel combustion. The individual will lead the development of B&W's ClimateBright decarbonization technologies and serve as a technical specialist for the organization.
Requirements
- Process engineering and combustion experience with multiple solid and gaseous fuels fired in industrial and utility scale boilers or in similar industrial combustion processes
- Familiarity with multiple burner combustion principles, emissions predictions knowledge, mechanical burner equipment knowledge and the ability to properly size and select combustion technologies
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering from an ABET/EAC accredited program
- 8+ years minimum of combined post-graduate academic or professional (design and/or field) experience in combustion technologies
- Strong team player and able to coordinate with cross functional teams
- Ability to drive changes as required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment for customer support
