The Area Coordinator provides front-line leadership and direction to a residence area housing between 600-800 entrepreneurship and business residents. Specifically responsible for assisting in the development, implementation, and evaluation of a comprehensive residence education program ensuring that a particular residential area is a safe, inclusive, and developmental living environment.
Requirements
- Provides direct supervision and feedback to a staff of between 18 to 28 undergraduate Resident Assistants and one Head Resident Assistant (HRA)
- Assists the Director and Assistant Director in creating a comprehensive residential experience for student organizations on campus through the Special Interest Housing process, Living Learning Programs, and themed living communities
- Plans and implements a comprehensive area/building wide community development plan to meet student needs and ensures a safe, inclusive, and developmental living environment
