Assistant Skating Instructor

Assists with providing ice skating instruction to students as young as 3 years old, effectively instructing students in all elements of class level, and delivers outstanding customer service to skaters and guests in the rink.

Requirements

• Assists senior coaching staff with class management and skating instruction
• Maintains a positive, creative, upbeat class environment using age-appropriate games and props
• Encourages appropriate behavior of students with an emphasis on safety and community/team building
• Delivers outstanding customer service to skaters and guests in the rink
• Serves as an expert on skate school programs and arena offerings
• Assists with preparation prior to class start time
• Ensures proper storage and maintenance of program materials and equipment
